Livigno Accommodation

Livgno accommodation is all located within the Central Pedestrian area which is within a walking distance of approx 20 minutes from one end to the other.  The ski hire, ski school meeting point, beginner ski area and kindergarten are located in the centre of this area.  Ski lifts are accessable all along the mountain side.

Properties are family/privately owned and run. The Properties and Rooms are all individually designed and therefore vary from Property to Property.  Each room is a different size and the furnishings and layout are individual. In some Properties, the rooms / apartments on the top floor have slanted ceilings. 

Some Properties have a timer on the heating where at certain times of the day/night the heat can be reduced.  The Properties are quite old looking but the higher category Hotels have been modernised.

In Livigno’s properties, the bed in a double room is referred to as a „French Twin“ in that it has a solid base with 2 x mattresses along side each other. Each side of the bed has it’s own individual bedding and pillow.  There are however also „French Twins“ where the base of the beds are also seperated. In triple/quad rooms the bed is usually a sleeper couch which converts into either a single or double bed.

Bedding varies from Property to Property.  Some apartments and lower category accommodations can have sheets and blankets whereas the higher category accommodations have duvets.   The pillows in all are generally hard. Bathrooms consist mainly of showers, basin and toilet.  There are very few baths available and in some Properties none at all.

All properties have cellar ski rooms to store ski equipment or alternatively ski equipment can be stored at Max’s ski hire (only if ski hire is purchased within the package).

Livigno Apartments Central: 

Central: Apartments located in Livigno map zones: B4, B2, M6, M7, M2, M1. Approx. 30 apartments scattered throughout the Central Pedestrian area.

Are on a self-catering basis and are not serviced.

Furnishings, layout and bedding vary from apartment to apartment in Livigno, most are basically furnished with old Italian style furniture.

Are available in different sizes i.e. amount of beds i.e 2-bed, 3-4 bed, 4-5 bed, 6-8 bed which means the min-max amount of beds that persons can be accommodated in. 

A 2-bed is usually a studio apartment with the bedroom/lounge/kitchenette as one room and a seperate bathroom.  The double bed is either a „French Twin“ or a Sleeper couch.

A 4-bed is usually a double room with a seperate lounge containing a sleeper couch which converts to a double bed with a kitchen forming part of the lounge room with a seperate bathroom.

A 4-6 bed is usually 2 seperate double rooms (the second room can be a twin room with seperate beds or bunk-beds), with a seperate lounge containing a sleeper couch which converts to a double bed with a kitchen forming part of the lounge room with a seperate bathroom.

A 6-8 bed is usually 3 seperate double rooms (these rooms can either be double rooms, triple rooms or twin rooms with seperate beds or bunk-beds), with a seperate lounge containing a sleeper couch which converts to a double bed with a kitchen forming part of the lounge room with a seperate bathroom (some apartments have 2 bathrooms in this size apartment).

The kitchen facilities also vary and may consist of a fridge, stove plate, oven and/or microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, dish-towels, crockery and cutlery.

Bedding is supplied and for stays longer than a week, will be changed during your stay. 

All have small T.V.’s and some have safes and hair dryers.

Towels, Toilet paper and dish washing up liquid are not supplied.

NB! Some apartment owners in Livigno require a security deposit on arrival, which is for guests account.  Livigno Apartments must be left in the same condition as they were at the beginning of stay

Deluxe Pensions in Livigno: 

Livigno Pensions are located within 50 metres of the ski hire, ski school meeting point and beginner ski area.

Pensions in Livigno are on a bed & breakfast basis and the rooms are serviced daily.

Breakfast is served buffet-style and varies from property to property and can consist of cereals, yoghurts, breads, bread-rolls, ham, cheese, jams, orange juice, teas and coffee.  Some properties offer eggs on request and sometimes at an additional cost.

Majority of rooms are double rooms and the basic furnishings typically Italian style and layout vary.

Some triple rooms are available on request but are limited.

Single rooms are very limited and actual single rooms with single beds are small.

All rooms are with en-suite bathroom facilities and some have hair dryers.

Small bath Towels are supplied and most supply small bars of soap. All have small T.V.’s and some have telephones and safes.

3-Star Hotels in Livigno on B&B basis: 

Livigno Hotels are located within 50-200 metres of the ski hire, ski school meeting point and beginner ski area.

Are on a bed and breakfast basis and the rooms are serviced daily.  Half-board option is available in some at an additional cost.

Breakfast is served buffet-style and varies from property to property and can consist of a variety of fruits, cereals, yoghurts, pastries, breads, bread-rolls, eggs, hams, cheeses, jams, fruit juices, teas and coffee.

Majority of Livigno Hotel rooms are double rooms with modern furnishings and the layout and size vary.

Some triple and quad rooms are available on request but are limited and are quite often at an extra supplement as they are Superior rooms.

Single rooms are very limited and actual single rooms with single beds are small.

All rooms are with en-suite bathroom facilities with hairdryers and small bath Towels and soaps are supplied.

All rooms have T.V.’s and telephones and some have safes.

 All Livigno Hotels have a reception area, lounge room with house-bar as well as a children’s play room.

Some have an a-la-carte restuarant.

 Wellness facilities are available but vary from property to property and they can have, saunas, solariums, steam-baths, and these can be at an additional cost.

4-Star Hotels in Livigno: 

4 Star Livigno Hotels are located within 50-200 metres of the ski hire, ski school meeting point and beginner ski area.

Are on a Half-board basis only and the rooms are serviced daily. 

Breakfast is served buffet-style and varies from property to property and can consist of a large variety of fruits, cereals, yoghurts, pastries, breads, bread-rolls, eggs, hams, cheeses, jams, fruit juices, teas and coffee. 

Majority of rooms are double rooms with modern furnishings and the layout and size vary.

Some triple and quad rooms are available on request but are limited and are quite often at an extra supplement as they are Superior rooms.
