St Johann Accommodation

St Johann accommodation is very well located in the village and is only a short walk from the ski slopes and entertainment. In Austrian properties, the bed in a double room is referred to as a „French Twin“ in that it has a solid base with 2 x mattresses along side each other. Each side of the bed has it’s own individual duvet and pillow.  There are very few beds that can be seperated into an actual twin room with 2 seperate single beds.  In triple/quad rooms the bed is usually a sleeper couch which converts into either a single or double bed.  Single rooms are very limited.

Bathrooms consist mainly of showers, basin and toilet.  There are very few baths available and in some Properties none at all. 

All properties have cellar ski rooms to store ski equipment.

Budget Pension: 

Properties are located within 100-200 metres to the main Gondola lift, ski hire, ski school meeting point, beginner ski area and apre ski bars.

 Are on a bed and breakfast basis and the rooms are serviced daily.

Breakfast varies from property to property and can consist of cereals, yoghurts, breads, bread-rolls, ham, cheese, jams, orange juice, teas and coffee.  Some properties offer eggs on request and sometimes at an additional cost.

Majority of rooms are double rooms and the furnishings are basic and typically Austrian style and layouts vary.

Some triple and quad rooms are available on request but are limited.

 Single rooms are very limited and actual single rooms with single beds are small.

 All rooms are with shared bathroom facilities.  There is 1 shower and toilet per floor and approx. 5 rooms per floor. 

Small bath Towels are supplied.

Rooms do not have T.V.’s, telephones or safes.

Deluxe Pension: 

Properties are located within 100-300 metres to the main Gondola lift, ski hire, ski school meeting point, beginner ski area and apre ski bars.

Are on a bed and breakfast basis and the rooms are serviced daily.

Superior Pension: 

Property has the most perfect location and is within 50 metres of the main Gondola lift.  Ski hire shop located under the property and the ski school meeting point is on the slope opposite the property.  There is approx. 10 minute walk to beginner ski area and town centre.

In the Noichl, there are 4 Suite apatments available and are sold on a bed & breakfast basis: there are 2 small suites which sleep 3 pax each and consist of a double room and a seperate lounge area with a single sleeper couch, with a seperate kitchen and bathroom. 

There is a larger suite which sleeps 4-5 pax and is same s the small suite but has a double sleeper couch in the lounge. There is also a Xlarge suite which sleeps 6-7 pax with 2 seperate double rooms with a seperate lounge containing a double sleeper couch with a kitchen and 2 separate bathrooms.

All Rooms and Suites have small T.V., telephones and safes.

Apartments: 

Properties are located within 100-300 metres to the main Gondola lift, ski hire, ski school meeting point, beginner ski area and apre ski bars.

Are on a self-catering basis and are not serviced.  The price includes the final cleaning fee.

Are available in different sizes i.e. amount of beds i.e 2-bed, 3-4 bed, 4-5 bed, 6-8 bed which means the min-max amount of beds that persons can be accommodated in. 

Each apartment varies in furnishings and layout.

A 2-bed is usually a studio apartment with the bedroom/lounge as one room and a seperate bathroom and kitchenette.  The double bed is either a „French Twin“ or a Sleeper couch.

A 4-bed is usually a double room with a seperate lounge containing a sleeper couch which converts to a double bed with a kitchen forming part of the lounge room with a seperate bathroom.

A 4-6 bed is usually 2 seperate double rooms (the second room can be a twin room with seperate beds or bunk-beds), with a seperate lounge containing a sleeper couch which converts to a double bed with a kitchen forming part of the lounge room with a seperate bathroom.

A 6-8 bed is usually 3 seperate double rooms (these rooms can either be double rooms, triple rooms or twin rooms with seperate beds or bunk-beds), with a seperate lounge containing a sleeper couch which converts to a double bed with a kitchen forming part of the lounge room with a seperate bathroom (some apartments have 2 bathrooms in this size apartment).

The kitchen facilities also vary and may consist of a fridge, stove plate, oven and/or microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, dish-towels, crockery and cutlery.

Bedding and Towels are supplied and for stays longer than a week, will be changed during your stay.  All have small T.V.’s and some have safes and hair dryers.

Toilet paper and dish washing up liquid are not supplied.

Some apartment buildings have saunas

4- Star Hotel:

Properties are located within 100-300 metres to the main Gondola lift, ski hire, ski school meeting point, beginner ski area and apre ski bars.

Are on a B&B basis and the rooms are serviced daily.  Half-board can be arranged.

Breakfast is served buffet-style and varies from property to property and can consist of a large variety of fruits, cereals, yoghurts, pastries, breads, bread-rolls, eggs, hams, cheeses, jams, fruit juices, teas and coffee.

Majority of rooms are double rooms and the furnishings, layout and size vary.

Some triple and quad rooms are available on request but are limited and are quite often at an extra supplement as they are Superior rooms.

Single rooms are very limited and actual single rooms with single beds are small.

All rooms are with en-suite bathroom facilities with hairdryers and small bath Towels and soaps are supplied.

All rooms have T.V.’s and telephones and some have safes.

All Hotels have a reception area, lounge room with house-bar as well as a children’s play room.

Wellness facilities are available but vary from property to property and they can have, saunas, solariums, steam-baths, indoor heated pool, fitness room, massages and these can be at an additional cost.
